Uhm...huh.....yeah.

As for the demographics, I'd like to know if they *did* a psychological survey or something on who they polled? I mean, seriously - how do they *know* those women are desperate for a family? Is it because there's evidence (besides buying fig newtons) to back it up or is it simply because they're women in a prescribed "child-bearing" age? And the men....same thing. All the men feel abandoment issue?

I've seen one of these ads, I think. It used to make me smile...I liked fig newtons previously, and don't buy them more now than I ever used to. But, I can say for sure that *I* am not desperate to have a family - and I'm in that 18-35 age range. Perhaps I'll stop buying them...they're good, but they ain't *that* good.

Wait, what?

I can't tell if you're serious or not, so pardon me if I'm stating something you already know...

you know The Onion is complete satire right?

The stats and article you're referencing are completely made up, just like everything else in The Onion.

Yeah, I was going to post the same thing the previous commenter did. You can't take ANYTHING that comes from The Onion seriously. It's all jokes... think of it as a newspaper where every day is April Fool's Day.
