Relief...

I was late to work this morning, and I realized with a start, that there was no panic, no agitation. Traffic was backed up, and for once I wasn't irritated. I realize now, that what I feel is relief. I'm sad to be leaving, and I'm concerned about my financial future..but, overall, I'm relieved.
I'm thinking about doing a little side business of reading Tarot cards. It would be great practice for me - and if Kyros is willing to help me with details and learning, it would be perfect. Well, details at least, the learning I can do...I think its just a matter of practice.

Oh..my horrorscope for the day is rather fitting :)

Stop your pondering over something and simply do it, JESSICA. This is
a day to be spontaneous and adventurous. Although this may feel a
bit foreign and against your usual grounded nature, it would
definitely be a good idea to take this time to do something on a
whim and see where it takes you. Don't be afraid of the unknown.
The future is an exciting concept since it is just that - unknown.
Embrace it.

ya know...
If you actually got up when your alarm goes off you don't run late to work.. I heard your alarm go off at least 4 times this morning... I was reading by the back heater and kept wondering when you were actually going to get up.. I realized that I had heard the alarm 4 or 5 times when I headed downstairs and wondered when you were actually getting up.. (chuckle)

Re: ya know...
I do get up when the alarm goes off...for the 5th or 6th time ;) Actually, it wasn't a problem with waking up...I puttered around the house and should have left about 2 minutes earlier. Had I known that they would actually be *doing* construction as opposed to just threatening it like they have for months (various cones and equipment scattered about but no workers), I would have. But..feh.
