Now, I get to torture ya'll with updates from my trip to Victoria. Why? Because I can. I wrote these on paper, and am just copying them verbatum. So, deal.

I just got out of a hot, hot shower. The kind of hot that turns your skin red and makes the bathroom like a sauna. Oohh, yeah. Mmn. That's the kind of shower meant for flannel jammies. They hold in the heat. And when you open that door, and all the cool air rushes in...mmmn. Bliss.
Last night Tyr, Bryan and I went to see Lord of the Rings. Excellent, excellent movie. Worth braving long lines for multiple times. I was running late, as usual. Lo and behold, traffic. I hate Murphy. We made it alright though - even got good seats. After the movie, we stopped by jack-in-the-crack for food and shakes. Much suction and straw teasing (grin) on the way back to Tyr's.

This morning, I actually woke up on time. Didn't help. Still left late. We (Bryan and I) caught the 3 pm ferry from Tswasson to Swartz Bay. Bryan and I talked most of the trip. We stopped in Mt. Vernon for tabs on the way up. My car is legal again! Yay!
On the ferry, the girls in the SOV next to us set off their alarm. They were so embarrassed. Heh. Poor things. They couldn't get it to turn off. Dad had gone up top with the keys.
We checked in to the hotel about 5 pm. Same room we had last time - #26. Both of us are feeling so unmotivated. At about 7 pm we had dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Yum. It helped prove a theory. Victoria is a genetic experiment. In all the resteraunts we've been to the wait staff has been gorgeous. Both men and women. We had thought it was just the Keg. But, a couple other places have been the same too. Right now, we aren't doing much but watching VI Warshowski and reading/writing. I'll probably go to bed early. I'm tired tonight from little sleep and lots of travel.
