Well, the day was pretty uneventful. We got moving about noon. We walked around some. Had lunch at the Cheesecake Cafe. Yum! Found some Harley shirts. May have to back and get a couple. (grin) Visited Munro books. Love that store. I bought Lord of the Rings. They have one book with all the books in it. I've started reading it. Man, I didn't know there was such a history to the book! I mean, just the printing of it! I haven't even gotten to the first chapter. Next, we went to Murchies. I love their coffee. Excellent mochas! Talked to a lady in line, she was from Victoria but currently lives in Colorado. She'd also lived in Seattle and Okanogan.
I finally got a catalogue. Yeah! It gives the website too. I forgot the Munro's has a program to learn Gaelic and one for Japanese. Bryan and I are thinking about buying the Gaelic. We also stopped at another store we like - Seeing is Believing. Great place!
I bought a puzzle. Its pretty cool. A tarot puzzle. I can't wait to put it together and use it. They provide a small deck of cards. Its only the major arcana, but still. There's a card that gives a quick refernce of meanings. I like it. It also gave me an idea. I'm thinking it may just be better for me to learn the major first, then work on the minor. Bryan thought that may work.
For the first time, we wandered through Eaton Center. There's a stand in there that sells Egyptian statues. They had a couple of beautiful ones of Bast. One was fairly small, black with gold highlights and gold earings. The other was bigger, black with some gold trim and had gold rings in her ears and nose. He would have sold it to me at $160 Canadian. (sigh) I can'f afford. Irony runs amok. (smirk) We came back to the motel after. I was back in my jammies by 5 pm. Ahhh, comfy. Got some strange looks through the window, but oh well!
