Alright, so its a little late in the night (morning?) to be posting much. However, as one can see, I'm still up. Wide awak though I should be exhausted. I've had a fairly long, but enjoyable day.
Mom and I got the kids dressed and ready to go (along with ourselves) in a relatively short time. We even managed to leave the house before Garrett's nap. He slept in the van. It was cute :) We headed up to work so I could pick up my check. After that, we went up to Ben Franklin's in Monroe. I got a set of the knifty knitter rings and some yarn to begin a project. I've got a fair bit of it done already. I'm excited :)
After spending more money than I should have for crafts, we stopped for lunch at Burger King. We don't have any near us...so I was excited about that. Lame, huh? :P Garrett got the play area to himself, and had a blast playing in the balls and on the slide. Then it was off to the bank to deposit my check. I'd forgotten about traffic on Hwy 2 though, and how bad it could be. Fortunately, even with 522 closed, it wasn't as bad as I was thinking *whew*
We had plans to go to Coscto after the bank, but I wasn't feeling well. My stomach had been upset all afternoon...a reaction to the mocha, I think. Icky. We ended up skipping Costco. I'll go on Thursday, when I have a day off again. I only work 3 days this week....tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, of course.
I had planned on going to the Sea-Poly get together too, but missed that. I felt better after we got home, but wasn't sure I wanted to chance it. Besides the fact that I don't think D was up to watching the kids more or less on his own. I guess it was better I didn't go this time around, though I was a bit disappointed. Maybe next week I'll make it. I'm hoping to, anyway.

I've been looking at those knitting rings, but I haven't been sure what the hell I'd do with them. I've recently adopted the hobby of knitting, am a pro at scarves and have recently been doing well making my first poncho. What on earth would you do with those ringy thingies?

You can make hats, scarves and various other things. On the website, there's some projects listed for the knitting rings
